I'm proud to annouce that I was a recipient of the Grainger Welcome Award! This award is given to new researchers within UW-Madison's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for their potential in driving research.
This award was presented at a formal reception hosted at Memorial Union. I am very honored that I was chosen among many other fantastic researchers to recieve this award. Thank you to the Grainger Foundation, UW-Madison, and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for presenting me this award. Congratulations to all my peers who received awards as well!
I got the opportunity to spend another weekend in Michigan with some of my family! I figured it would be nice to get away before the stress of the semester starts.
Happy 4th of July! Super happy to be able to spend with with my family in Michigan. Spent the day with my brother hiking around. So many cool waterfalls in the UP! It was super hot that day so I'm happy I got to spend it under the forest canopy. Heres to Americas 249th!
Today I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison! After switching my major from Mechanical Engineering to Electrical Engineering in between my sophomore and junior year, I have been incredibly busy the previous two years catching up in the Electrical Engineering curriculum.
But today, all the hard work finally paid off. I looked at graduating in time despite switching my major as a first step in becoming a power electronics researcher, which is my long term goal now that I have graduated.
For my next chapter, I will be starting graduate school at the WEMPEC lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall. Here, I hope to study power electronics specifically in power conversion.
Despite me graduating and coming right back next August, I am still very proud of today, and want to relish in my hard work and celebrate a huge milestone in my life!
I am working on expanding this blog section of my website first. Figure 1 is a test image. Figure 5 is also a test image.
Today I created my first website! I'm planning on updating this website in the future and want to challenge myself to create something that reflects my creativity and individuality. Figure 1 shows what the website looked like on day 1!
